Our Projects
Our team of experienced builders are dedicated to providing the highest quality workmanship possible
Every project in our portfolio tells a different story – a Birkenhead home transformed through careful attention to texture and light, an architectural build in Hauraki that turned a brick and tile into a forever home, a Kumeu lifestyle property extended around a family’s love of entertaining. We have included details of each project below because we think the specifics matter. If you want to know how we work, the best place to start is here.
Birkenhead Renovation
This renovation project involved the internal alteration of the existing dwelling. The client designed with intent with textures, contrasts and some asian influence.
- Awesome textured tiles
- Great use of cedar Shoji doors
- Polished concrete lower level with exposed mid floor joists

Kumeu Renovation
Nestled in West Auckland, deep in wine country our clients wanted to utilise the abundance of space on their existing lifestyle block. With Greek bloodlines, entertaining for large groups of family and friends was a common occurrence. The renovation included installing a self-cleaning pool with a changing shed/pool house and extending the existing house was the perfect complement to that. The use of bi-fold doors and windows allows complete control of the occasional harsh wind, and coupled with the Velux skylights, ensures no loss of light. The open section facing the pool ensures the perfect indoor/outdoor flow. The non-slip tiles and keystone wall bring that earthy element, whilst the low-maintenance pool house cladding offers contrast.
- Firth Keystone walls
- Self-cleaning pool
- Velux skylights

- Cedar cladding & pergola

Kumeu Villa Extension
Lichfield House is located in the heart of wine country, surrounded by local vineyards just two minutes away from Kumeu Valley Estate and The Hunting Lodge Winery. It is ideally located if you are visiting the area or getting married nearby. We were engaged to extend the main house. There was no shortage of challenges, as always when dealing with period homes; however, together with the clients, we were able to overcome these and produce an exceptional result. Some key elements in this villa extension were:
- Reclaimed Rimu floor joists machined into flooring
- Colonial finishing trims
- Large timber joinery units for maximum natural light
- Outdure composite concealed fix decking
- Glass roof over entertaining area
