Our process

At Quality Build we know the stress that comes with doing renovations or building projects. We understand that every client has a different level of knowledge and capability around building and construction and that every project is unique in its complexity and methods. That is why we have developed a unique construction process that is implemented from the very first contact right through to completion of your project. We place a lot of detail around education. Our system ensures that from those very first stages you are involved. We continue to value your input along the way so that you feel in control of your vision and are 100% confident with how your project is taking shape. Take a look at a condensed version of this system below.

1. Initial Contact

After a phone or email conversation Quality Build would obtain some further information regarding your project. This may include a scope of works, your vision, timelines for the project, any concerns you may have etc. Following this, we would organise a free no obligation meeting to discuss things further.

2. Design & Planning

After the onsite meeting Quality Build would determine the need for any involvement required from our team of advisors. We work with top rate trusted Designers, Finance brokers, Quantity surveyors and subcontractors to ensure that we have all the bases covered to help you achieve your goals. This stage is crucial as it allows us to obtain as much information as we can to minimise any surprises throughout the project.

3. Estimate/Quote

Once we have a set of working drawings Quality Build will prepare a preliminary estimate. In addition, we can offer a comprehensive job costing from our Quantity surveyor for a fee which will be refunded should our services be engaged. From here we can set up a meeting to present our costings to you.


4. Pre Construction

Quality Build will create a detailed project schedule outlining relevant dates, project milestones and any client provided items e.g. bathroom fixtures, kitchens, paint colours, flooring. We will also prepare the building contract, any insurances, guarantees and Health & Safety documents.


5. Construction

Once consent has been granted we will organise a meeting to go over the consented plans. Here we can identify any changes or special requirements that may differ from the working drawings. This allows us to update any pricing or sort out any issues that may have surfaced. The next step is Quality Build's team of Licensed qualified builders onsite to start making your dreams a reality. We use a market leading project management software system to track your project every step of the way. 

6. Post Construction

Quality Build will ensure you receive all the required documents, warranties and guarantees and can help with the application for your Code of Compliance Cert. It's at this stage that your dreams and visions would have become reality.
